Airtel Launches New Xstream Fiber Broadband Lite Plan At Rs 219

Airtel has introduced its latest offering in the broadband segment with the launch of its new Airtel Xstream Fiber broadband lite plan at just Rs 219 per month. This plan is considered the cheapest fiber plan available to Airtel broadband users, making it a great option for those looking for a budget-friendly option in the market.

The Airtel Xstream Fiber broadband lite plan provides users with a broadband speed of 10Mbps and comes with a free router. However, it is only available in three circles - Bihar, UP East, and Andhra Pradesh, and it does not include any OTT or live TV benefits. Users will have to pay a total of Rs 3,101 to sign up for the plan, as it is only available for a yearly subscription.

For users who require more benefits, Airtel offers several other Xstream Fiber broadband plans, which include varying speeds & benefits. The basic plan costs Rs 499 per month and provides up to 40 Mbps speed, unlimited internet & calls, and subscriptions to Apollo 24/7, FASTag, and Wynk Music. The standard plan costs Rs 799 per month and offers up to 100 Mbps speed and a subscription to the Xstream Premium pack.

Airtel's entertainment plan costs Rs 999 per month and includes up to 200 Mbps speed and subscriptions to Disney+ Hotstar, Amazon Prime, and Xstream Premium pack. The professional plan costs Rs 1,498 per month and provides up to 300 Mbps speed and a Netflix subscription. The most expensive plan costs Rs 3,999 per month and includes all benefits with up to 1Gbps speed.

It is important to note that Airtel's broadband lite plan is not the only budget broadband plan in the market. Airtel's rival Jio launched a budget broadband plan called the Broadband back-up plan, priced at Rs 198 per month, offering a top internet speed of 10 Mbps. However, users can upgrade their speed and get OTT benefits by paying extra. Jio broadband users can upgrade to 30 or 100 Mbps and avail of a free STB, up to 500 live TV channels, and up to 14 OTT apps.

Airtel's new Xstream Fiber broadband lite plan is a great option for users who require a budget-friendly option with fast internet speeds. However, users who require more benefits can choose from Airtel's other Xstream Fiber broadband plans or Jio's Broadband back-up plan with upgraded speed and OTT benefits. It is essential to analyze one's requirements before choosing a plan to ensure maximum benefits at an affordable price.
