Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) has launched Repsol Edition variants of its popular Hornet 2.0 and Dio 125 motorcycles, featuring special get-up and branding. These limited-edition models celebrate India's maiden MotoGP event, Moto GP Bharat.
The Hornet 2.0 Repsol Edition costs Rs. 1.4 lakh (ex-showroom), Rs. 1,000 more than the standard model. It comes with new features stylish dual-tone get-up in Ross White and Vibrant Orange, with the Ross White elements extending from the rear subframe body panels through the side body panels and into the fuel tank.
The Ross White livery on the fuel tank of the Hornet 2.0 Repsol Edition gives it the appearance of a perimeter frame, even though the bike has a diamond frame. The Repsol Edition also features red pillion grab handles and red pin striping on the alloy wheels.
Other features slipper clutch, petal disc brakes, single-channel ABS and full LED lighting. Honda's newest scooter, the Dio 125, starts at Rs. 83,400, with the Repsol Edition costing Rs. 90,000 (both prices ex-showroom). The Dio 125 shares the same design and body panels as the 110cc Dio.
The Dio 125 Repsol Edition gets the same Ross White and Vibrant Orange colour livery as the Hornet 2.0 Repsol Edition but with Vibrant Orange alloy wheels instead of black wheels. There are also multiple Repsol Edition-exclusive brandings and other visual highlights.
The 123.92cc engine on the Dio 125 generates 8.2 bhp of power and 10.4 Nm of torque. The Dio 125 Repsol Edition comes standard with 12-inch alloy wheels, disc brakes and CBS.
