Kawasaki is revealing a new motorcycle at the upcoming India Bike Week in Goa, scheduled for December 8-9. The brand has teased the motorcycle through images on its social media platforms, leaving fans eager to uncover its true shape. While the exact details remain covered in mystery, the teaser images hint at an exciting addition to Kawasaki's lineup.
Based on the shape and front wheel design shown in the teaser images, suggests that the upcoming Kawasaki motorcycle could be the Eliminator 450, a model currently available in international markets. Drawing inspiration from the Vulcan S, the Eliminator embodies a relaxed cruiser style, yet it distinguishes itself with a more angular stance and a sharper bottom section.
The Eliminator 450's design language is further accentuated by blacked-out components illustrating the engine case and frame. While the international version boasts fully black alloy wheels, the Indian variant is expected to feature rim stickers for an enhanced visual appeal. At the heart of this cruiser lies a 451cc parallel-twin engine that delivers a spirited 49bhp and is tuned to provide great torque at lower revs.
On the feature front, the Eliminator 450 is equipped with an LCD housed in a circular pod, dual-channel ABS, and LED illumination for both the headlamp and tail lamp. These features contribute to a fully equipped and stylish cruiser.
While the exact launch details have yet to be revealed, we expect that Kawasaki will price the new Eliminator 450 in the vicinity of the Ninja 400, which currently retails at Rs 5.24 lakh (ex-showroom). This pricing strategy would position the Eliminator 450 competitively within Kawasaki's lineup and cater to a broader range of motorcycle enthusiasts.
