Ola Electric To Expand Lineup With New Electric Scooters And E-Bikes In 2024

Ola Electric, the electric vehicle subsidiary of Indian ride-hailing giant Ola, has announced plans to launch all-new electric scooters and e-bikes by 2024. The company, which is currently in the process of rolling out its first electric scooter, the Ola S1, said that the new vehicles will be designed.

Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said that the company is dedicated to making electric vehicles available and affordable to all. "We believe that electric vehicles are the future of transportation, and we are committed to leading the way in this arena," he stated.

The new electric scooter and e-bikes from Ola Electric are expected to be priced competitively and will be targeted at a mass market audience. The company has already received over 1 lakh bookings for its first electric scooter, the Ola S1, and is confident that the new vehicles will be well-received by the market.

Ola Electric will also be expanding into the electric motorcycle segment with a range of premium offerings in different body styles, including a cruiser, an adventure bike, a sport bike, and a mass-market model.

These motorcycles will compete with other premium electric motorcycles such as the Ultraviolette F77, Tork Kratos R, Oben Rorr, and Revolt RV400. However, Ola's electric motorcycles will not be available until 2024, as the company is currently focusing on scooters.
