India Yamaha Motor (IYM) has launched two new paint schemes for the FZ-S FI V4 in the Indian market: Dark Matte Blue and Matte Black. The new colours are priced at Rs. 1,28,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and are aimed at attracting more customers during the upcoming festive season.
The Yamaha FZ-S FI V4 is now available in five different colours: Metallic Grey, Majesty Red, Metallic Black, Dark Matte Blue, and Matte Black. There are no mechanical changes to the motorcycle, which is still powered by a 149cc single-cylinder air-cooled four-stroke SOHC 2-valve Fi engine that produces a maximum power output of 12.4 PS at 7,250 rpm.
The peak torque of the Yamaha FZ-S FI V4 is 13.3 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The motorcycle features a front disc brake and rear drum brake setup, assisted by a single-channel ABS.
It also comes with an LCD instrument console, LED headlamp, tyre hugger, side-mounted exhaust system, Traction Control System (TCS), Bluetooth-enabled Y-Connect application, black-finished alloy wheels, and a blackened engine area.
The Yamaha FZ-S FI V4 has a 13-litre fuel tank capacity and weighs 136 kg. It also comes with an LED tail lamp, LED turn indicators, a 100/80-17 front tire, a 140/60-17 radial rear tire, a monoshock suspension with 120 mm wheel travel, a single-piece seat, a single-piece grab rail, chrome duct plating, and a 3D emblem.
Yamaha will launch the YZF-R3 and MT-03 in December 2023, both powered by a 321cc parallel twin-cylinder fuel-injected engine producing around 42 hp. The engine will be mated to a six-speed transmission with a slipper and assist clutch as standard.
