BMW i7 M70 xDrive: India's Most Expensive Electric Car Priced at Rs. 2.50 Crore

BMW India has launched a new M70 xDrive variant of the all-electric i7 sedan in India for Rs. 2.50 crore (ex-showroom). This is the first all-electric M car to be launched in the country, and it has a torque of 1,100Nm on demand.

The BMW i7 M70 xDrive has the same exterior design as the regular i7 but with some M-specific touches. This includes a massive illuminated front grille with vertical slats, split LED headlamps with DRLs, flush door handles, slim LED tail lamps, and a dual-tone exterior paint finish.

There is also an M logo on the grille and other M-specific bits such as side skirts, front side panels, ORVMs, and a rear spoiler. The i7 rides on 21-inch M light-alloy wheels as standard.

The BMW i7 M70 xDrive interior is loaded with features, including:

A twin-display for infotainment and instrument cluster

Gesture control
A wireless charger
A Bowers and Wilkins sound system with 36 speakers
A 31.3-inch 8K retractable touchscreen for the rear passengers
5.5-inch touchscreen control panels on the rear doors

A driver assistance system

The BMW i7 M70 xDrive has a Piano Black interior with silver stitching. It also has illuminated M door sills, M Merino Leather in black or Atlas Grey, an M leather steering wheel, and M-specific footrests. The BMW i7 M70 xDrive has a dual-motor electric powertrain powered by a 101.7kWh battery.
