Hyundai Venue Knight Edition Launched In India, Prices Start At Rs 9.99 Lakh

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), the South Korean automotive giant, has launched the all-new Venue Knight Edition in India. The new model joins the already popular Creta Knight Edition in the Knight Edition lineup. It is priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 13.48 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Venue Knight Edition follows the tradition of its predecessors by getting an all-black exterior theme such as the front grille, ORVMs, shark-fin antenna, skid plates and alloy wheels/wheel covers. Hyundai is offering four colour options: Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Gray and Fiery Red. There is also one dual-tone colour option: Fiery Red with Abyss Black.

The cabin of the Venue Knight Edition is black on black, with brass accents throughout. The seats are upholstered in black fabric, and there are sporty metal pedals and a 3D designer. The equipment on the Venue Knight Edition is the same as the regular Venue, with the addition of a dual-camera dash cam and automatic IRVMs on top-spec variants.

The Venue Knight Edition is available with two engine options: a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.0-litre GDi turbocharged petrol engine. The 1.2-litre engine produces 82 bhp and 114 Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The turbocharged engine, on the other hand, produces 118 bhp and 172 Nm of torque. It is mated to either a 6-speed iMT (clutchless manual) or a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch transmission) automatic gearbox.
