Skoda's Big Reveal: Next-gen Superb on Nov 2!

Skoda will unveil the all-new Superb on November 2, 2023, with the first set of details and images. The new Superb will go on sale internationally early next year, while Skoda is preparing to relaunch the current-gen model in India in the coming months.

New Skoda Superb interior

On the inside, the Superb will get an all-new interior with better quality materials, customizable rotary controllers, an all-new infotainment system, and sustainable materials.

Skoda says that the two outer knobs on the new Superb's rotary controller can be set to control seat heating, while the one in the centre can be used to adjust the infotainment volume, fan speed, air conditioning, driving modes, and the zoom function on the satellite navigation system. Elsewhere, the new Superb gains four USB-C ports, massage seats, and four-way adjustable lumbar support.

New Skoda Superb Exterior

The new Skoda Superb shares most of its architecture with the jointly developed Volkswagen Passat (which is no longer sold in India). The styling has been updated to bring it in line with the new Kodiaq, which is launching at a similar time. The new Superb will be available with three petrol engines, two diesels, and a plug-in hybrid, all mated to an automatic gearbox as standard.

New Skoda Superb: India launch details

The new Skoda Superb will be revealed next month, but Skoda will bring back the outgoing Superb to India in the coming months. The current-gen Superb was discontinued due to the implementation of BS6 Phase-II emissions norms, but Skoda is evaluating a plan to reintroduce it as a full import in limited numbers.
