Toyota Kirloskar Motors has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Karnataka government to establish a new manufacturing facility in Bidadi, Karnataka. With an investment exceeding Rs. 3,300 crore, this third plant in the region is slated to commence operations in 2026, bolstering the brand's annual production capacity by one lakh units.
The MoU signing ceremony was graced by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of the Karnataka government and Masakazu Yoshimura, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Toyota Kirloskar Motor. Notable attendees included D. K. Shivakumar, Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka; M. B. Patil, Minister for Large and Medium Industries of Karnataka; Swapnesh R. Maru, Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer; Vikram Gulati, Executive Vice President; and Sudeep Santram Dalvi, Senior Vice President and Chief Communication Officer, along with other prominent executives from Toyota Kirloskar Motor.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced the Innova Hycross GX Limited Edition in India, with prices commencing from Rs. 20.07 lakh (ex-showroom). Offered in both seven and eight-seater configurations, this limited edition is based on the GX trim and commands a premium of Rs. 40,000 over the standard variant.
