Hot on the heels of the Taigun Trail Edition, Volkswagen has introduced the Virtus and Taigun Sound Edition, exclusively focused on enhancing the audio experience. The Virtus Sound Edition starts at Rs 15.52 lakh, while the Taigun Sound Edition begins at Rs 16.33 lakh. Both models remain mechanically unchanged.
Building upon the success of the Taigun Trail Edition, Volkswagen has unveiled the Virtus and Taigun Sound Edition, solely dedicated to elevating the audio experience. Priced from Rs 15.52 lakh for the Virtus and Rs 16.33 lakh for the Taigun, these models retain their existing mechanical configurations.
True to its name, the Sound Edition introduces a speaker and amplifier system, along with powered front seats, features previously offered in the GT Plus variants of both models. Skoda has also incorporated these enhancements into their Slavia sedan.
Distinguishing the Sound Edition are special badges adorning the C-pillar and doors. The Taigun further offers the option of contrasting roof and wing mirror colors. The Volkswagen Virtus and Taigun Sound Edition come in four captivating shades – Lava Blue, Carbon Steel Grey, Wild Cherry Red, and Rising Blue. Powered by the 1.0-liter TSI engine generating 115hp and 178Nm.
The Volkswagen Virtus takes on the Skoda Slavia, Hyundai Verna, Honda City, and Maruti Ciaz, while the Taigun competes against the Honda Elevate, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Skoda Kushaq.
