Volkswagen has recently launched its Taigun GT Edge Trail Edition in India, with a price tag of Rs. 16.29 Lakh. The new variant is the top-of-the-line model of the Taigun and has been designed for those who like to explore off-road trails.
The Taigun GT Edge Trail Edition is powered by a 1.0-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine that produces 110PS of power and 175Nm of torque. The Trail Edition of the Taigun GT Edge features several exterior changes such as a new graphite grey paint job, 17-inch alloy wheels with a gunmetal grey finish, and a contrasting black roof and ORVMs.
On the inside, the Taigun GT Edge Trail Edition gets a new beige interior trim with contrasting grey accents. It also gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster.
In terms of safety, the new variant of the Taigun GT Edge gets four airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and a hill hold assist. The car also comes with a standard 3-year/1,00,000km warranty.
