Naveen Polishetty's natural comedic timing and Anushka Shetty's understated performance are both effective, but the simple and predictable plot of Miss Shetty and Mr. Polishetty could have benefited from more emotional depth.
Initial reactions to Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty's new romantic comedy, Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, are positive. In this film, Anushka plays the role of a chef and Naveen is a stand up comedian.
After three years Anushka returned to the big screen. A fan on Twitter called Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty the "best rom-com of the year, hands down!"
They praised the film's "brilliant writing and directing" by Mahesh Babu P, as well as Anushka Shetty's "gorgeous" and "impactful" performance and Naveen Polishetty's "comedic genius."
Another Twitter user called Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty "worth a watch" and said that the second half of the film was good and the climax was emotional.
Another review of the film called it an "ENTERTAINING WATCH!" They said that they loved the film throughout and that it made them laugh, feel the innocence of the characters, and most importantly, feel the pain of Sidhu (Naveen Polishetty).
It is produced by UV Creations and this film was released in four languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu.
