Delhi has been harmed by heavy rains in the last two days and it breaks a 41-year record for rainfall in July. The city received 153 mm of rain on July 9, the highest single-day rainfall in July since 1982. It has 260 mm of rain has been recorded entire month of July and it is not going to stop.
There are widespread flooding and waterlogging in the city cause of rain. Several roads and tunnels have been drown and traffic has been disturbed. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) IMD has also warned everyone about thunderstorms and heavy winds and issued a yellow alert in the city.
The rains have brought some relief from the heat wave that had been absorbing Delhi for the past few weeks. However, the rains have also caused some inconvenience, and people are being advised to be careful and take precautions.

The Delhi government has also taken other steps to deal with the heavy rains and save the people who are stuck in this rain and appealed to the people don't go anywhere and stay at home.
The rescue has arrived to control the situation. Closing down roads and bridges that have been damaged due to the rains. The Delhi government advises people to stay away from waterlogged areas and stop travelling for a few days.
