All educational institutions in Gurugram and Faridabad will be closed on Tuesday, August 1. To prevent further violence following the eruption of violence earlier in the day in Haryana's Nuh district, mobile internet services have been temporarily suspended in the district.
Two home guards were killed and around a dozen policemen were injured in a clash between two groups in Nuh district. Two home guards, Neeraj and Gursevak, who were deployed at Khedali Daula police station, were killed in the violence.
The clash appear after a mob attacked police teams that were en route from Gurugram to Mewat and investigate the incident to understand its cause. In light of the current situation, the district administrations of Gurugram and Faridabad have ordered the closure of all educational institutions including schools, colleges, and coaching centres, on Tuesday.
The decision to close educational institutions was made to prioritize the safety of students and teachers and to prevent any further violence. The police have also increased security in both cities. The situation in Gurugram and Faridabad is under control. The government have appealed to the public to maintain peace and to cooperate with the police in maintaining law and order.
