Lakshya Sen Reaches In Men's Singles Tournament, But PV Sindhu Faces Defeat.
Indian Professional Player PV Sindhu lost the chance to play in the semifinals, whereas Lakshay Sen got the big victory to represent India at the World Level. Sen entered the semifinals of the US open by covering the Canada Open Championship on Friday.

Sindhu's match journey stopped when she had a match with Gao Fang Jie from the People's Republic Of China. Gao Fang got her victory by 20-22, 13-21 in the 300 Super Tournament.

Lakshya Sen got the achievement in the All-India last eight clash against his opponent S Sankar Muthusamy Subramanian by getting scores 21-10, 21-17.

In the semifinals, Sen will have a cutthroat match with Li Shi Feng of China.

Sindhu faced the most challenging competition against her Chinese opponent, in which she got 36th position in the World.

She also had a competition with Sung Shuo Yun of Korea in which she succeeded in securing her place in the quarter-finals.

It is going to be a daunting task for India to come in the semi-finals.

India received the third chance when Sen got an opportunity to win against the 19-year-old Chennai player Subramanian in 38 minutes with 42 rallies.
