Veteran Malayalam actor Kundara Johny passed away from a heart attack at a private hospital in Kollam on Tuesday evening. He was 71. Malayalam actor Kundara Johny is survived by his wife, Stella, a college professor in Kollam.
Kerala Finance Minister K.N. Balagopal condoled the death of Malayalam actor Kundara Johny, who had acted in over 500 films during his career spanning over four decades. He made his debut at the age of 23 in the 1979 film Nithya Vasantham, playing a 55-year-old character.
Kundara Johny's final film was Meppadiyan, released in 2022. His other Malayalam films include Godfather, Inspector Balram, Aavanazhi, Rajavinte Makan, Oru CBI Diary Kurippu, Kireedom, Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha, Samooham, Chenkol, Aaraam Thampuran, and Varanapakittu, among others.
