Rio Kapadia, Actor In 'Chak De India' And 'Made In Heaven,' Dies At 66

Rio Kapadia, a popular TV and film actor, most recently appeared in Season 2 of "Made in Heaven." He also starred in shows like "Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke," "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi," and Siddharth Tewary's "Mahabharat."

Rio Kapadia, who most recently appeared in the Amazon Prime Video series "Made in Heaven" Season 2, died on Wednesday, September 13. His friend Faisal Malik confirmed the news to India Today.

His last rites will be held on Friday at the Shiv Dham Shamshan Bhumi in Goregaon, Mumbai. Rio Kapadia is survived by his wife, Maria Farah and children Aman and Veer. Deeply saddened by the passing of Rio Kapadia, a gentle, fluent and caring colleague and artist.

He starred in TV shows such as "Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke," "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi," and Siddharth Tewary's "Mahabharat."

Rio Kapadia recently performed as Mrunal Thakur's father in the Amazon Prime Video series "Made in Heaven 2." Rio Kapadia was also a talented artist.
