The moment has finally arrived! The results for UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) 2023 are officially released. This indeed marks the end of a period of suspense for those who had been eagerly waiting for their Civil Service exam results. On June 12, 2023, the results were made public on the UPSC's official website - upsc.gov.in.
The preliminary exams took off on May 28, 2023. Here's a simple guide on how to check your results:
Log on to the official website, upsc.gov.in.
On the homepage, locate and click on 'UPSC Civil Services Prelims Result 2023'.
This will present your digital mark sheet in PDF format.
You can download and save a soft copy of the rank card.
For safekeeping, print out the result.
As for the results, the PDF document will consist of roll numbers and a merit list of successful candidates. Each stage of the exam - prelims, mains, and interviews will have separate results announced.
Those who clear the exam have the mains to look forward to, which is scheduled for September 15, 2023. More details can be obtained from the official portal.
The UPSC Prelims saw a registration of nearly 11 to 12 lakh candidates. The available vacancies for the IAS post is 1105, with about 14624 candidates shortlisted for the prelims exam. The result contains the roll number and name of the applicant, with the final result featuring a category-wise cutoff and the total number of successful applicants.
