Bhola Shankar: Chiranjeevi's Stardom Can't Save This Stale, Unimaginative Tale

Chiranjeevi gives a powerful performance as Shankar, but even his charisma is not enough to save this stale, unimaginative tale. The supporting cast is also underwhelming, with Tamannaah Bhatia and Keerthy Suresh giving one-note performances.

After the success of his previous film, Waltair Veerayya, Chiranjeevi starred in the remake of Ajith's Vedalam, directed by Meher Ramesh. Bhola Shankar is a remake of Vedalam and doesn't stray too far from the original story.

In the film, Chiranjeevi plays Shankar, who travels to Kolkata with his sister Mahalakshmi (Keerthy Suresh) to get her admitted to a good college. He gets a job as a cab driver for Vamshi (Vennela Kishore). Srikar (Sushanth) falls in love with Maha at first sight and asks Shankar for her hand in marriage.

However, his latest film, Bhola Shankar, is a disappointment. Bhola Shankar is a new Telugu film that is a remake of the 2015 Tamil film Vedalam. Bhola Shankar is a disappointment for fans of Chiranjeevi, who have come to expect more from him.

If you're looking for a good Telugu action film, I would recommend watching something else. I would give Bhola Shankar a 2 out of 5 stars.
