Fukrey 3 is finally here! Six years after the popular comedy franchise is back. The trailer for Fukrey 3 was released today and the return of the weird gang of friends, including Pulkit Samrat as Hunny, Manjot Singh as Lali Halwai, Varun Sharma as Choocha, Richa Chadha as Bholi Punjaban and Pankaj Tripathi as Panditji, an astrologer who seems to have a major role to play in the movie.
The Fukrey 3 trailer begins with Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma taking a walk down memory lane, revisiting their school days. Cut to the future, where they are planning to run for election against Richa Chadha's character, Bholi Punjaban, who is determined to reclaim her old life.
New Fukrey 3 posters have been released, just days ahead of the trailer launch. The fans seem to be excited after the launch of the trailer for Fukrey 3. Ali Fazal, who is now married to Richa Chadha, was a part of the first two franchises of Fukrey but will not be seen in the Fukrey 3. Ali Fazal played the role of Zafar in the first two parts of the film, but he was not seen in the Fukrey 3.
Fukrey 3, directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment, will be released in theatres on September 28. Fukrey 3 was originally scheduled to be released on September 7 but they postponed the release date because of the release of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan.
The release date was then changed to December 1, but it was postponed again when Prabhas' Salaar was postponed. Fukrey 3 has now been released on September 28. Pankaj Tripathi, who was recently seen in the sequel OMG 2, has other sequels including Stree 2, Mirzapur 3 and Criminal Justice 4. He told PTI in an interview that he enjoys doing sequels because he already knows the world and characters.
