Kay Kay Menon and Avinash Tiwary face off as father and son on opposite sides of the law in the crime drama Bambai Meri Jaan, set in the 1960s Bombay underworld.

The explosive new trailer for the upcoming series Bambai Meri Jaan, directed by Shujaat Saudagar and starring Kay Kay Menon, Avinash Tiwary, and Kritika Kamra in pivotal roles, was released on Monday.

Bambai Meri Jaan takes viewers back to the city of Bombay in the 1960s, where a duty-bound police officer's father and his gangster son are caught in a web of gang wars, guns, and deceit.

Kay Kay Menon stars as Ismail Kadri, the honest cop who must confront his son Dara Kadri (Avinash Tiwary), who has chosen the path of crime.

"The city may be clean, but my home is stained," says the cop, lamenting the fact that his efforts to clean up the city have led to his own family being corrupted.

Fan reactions to the trailer have been positive and also praised the performances of Kay Kay Menon and Avinash Tiwary. A fan commented, "Avinash Tiwary is finally getting the appreciation he deserves."

Bambai Meri Jaan stars Kay Kay Menon, Avinash Tiwary, Saurabh Sachdeva, Kritika Kamra, Nivedita Bhattacharya, and Amyra Dastur. On September 14 it will premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
