POCO Launches C65 Smartphone with Helio G85, 90Hz Display

POCO has introduced the C65, its latest budget smartphone and the successor to the C55. The C65 seems to be a rebranded version of the forthcoming Redmi 13C, boasting several enhancements over its predecessor.

Sporting a boxy design, the POCO C65 features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button. The rear panel houses two prominent camera rings encased within a rectangular module that also bears the POCO branding on the right edge.

Upfront, the smartphone boasts a 6.74-inch display with a waterdrop notch and a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels. The display offers a 90Hz refresh rate and 600 nits peak brightness for enhanced visual clarity. Moreover, the display is shielded by Gorilla Glass protection to prevent scratches and accidental damage.

The POCO C65 sports a dual-lens rear camera system, comprising a 50MP main sensor for stunning photos and a 2MP macro lens for capturing intricate close-ups. An 8MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls, while various camera modes enhance captured images.

POCO C65 is a MediaTek Helio G85 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and expandable storage of up to 256GB. Virtual RAM technology and an SD card slot are also available for enhanced memory flexibility.

A 5,000mAh battery powers the device, ensuring ample endurance, while 18W fast charging ensures quick top-ups. The intuitive MIUI 14 operating system provides a seamless and feature-packed software experience.
