Vi Offers 5GB Free Data On Prepaid Plans Above Rs 299 But With A Catch

Vodafone Idea (Vi) is facing a decline in its customer base due to stiff competition and the delay in the launch of 5G services. Vi introduced a new recharge plan that offers additional data at no extra cost on select prepaid plans recharged through the Vi app.

Vi has introduced a new offer called the "Maha recharge scheme". Under this scheme, users can get an additional 5GB of data if they recharge their prepaid plans through the Vi app. The offer is valid for recharge plans priced at Rs 299 and above and the additional data will have a validity of three days.

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has announced that users who recharge their prepaid plans between Rs. 199 and Rs. 299 will get an extra 2GB of data for three days. Vi customers can also access Vi Movies & TV, Vi Music, and Vi Games on the Vi App, which has over 1200 mobile games based on Android and HTML5.

Vodafone Idea (Vi) recently introduced two new prepaid plans priced at Rs 368 and Rs 369. Both plans offer 60GB of data (2GB per day) for a validity period of 30 days, along with 100 messages per day and a subscription to Vi Movies & TV. The main difference between the two plans is that the Rs 369 plan offers a subscription to SonyLIV Premium, while the Rs 368 plan offers a subscription to Sun NXT.

The Rs 368 plan offers a subscription to Sun NXT, while the Rs 369 plan offers a subscription to SonyLIV. Sun NXT is a streaming platform that offers a variety of South Indian content, while SonyLIV offers content from Sony channels. Both plans offer unlimited voice calls to any network in India.

Apart from the benefits mentioned above, both plans also come with some exclusive features for Vi customers. Last month Vi also launched a Rs 181 prepaid data plan. This plan offers 1GB of daily data for 30 days and is ideal for users who quickly finish their daily data from their main recharge plan.

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has recently discontinued its Rs. 549 prepaid plan, which was launched a few weeks ago. The plan offered 1GB of data per day for 180 days but did not include unlimited calls, OTT benefits, or SMS benefits.
