WhatsApp is soon to launch a new feature called ‘Campaign Messages,’ aimed at helping small businesses reach out to their customers more efficiently. The new feature is expected to allow small businesses to create & send personalized promotions, reminders, or updates related to holiday sales, making it easier for them to engage with their customers.
Previously, only large companies could use WhatsApp Business for the API to reach their customers. However, small businesses faced difficulties using this feature. The new Campaign Messages tool will address this issue by allowing businesses to send the same message to multiple customers at once.
With this new feature, businesses can create a message template that includes a customer’s name & more. After sending a campaign message, businesses can also track its performance to check how it helps them grow their business.
WhatsApp’s new feature will be available at a fixed fee that may differ from country to country. Small businesses can manage the cost of each message they send, allowing them to stay on budget. However, campaign messages will not be available in the customer app, as this is a business tool.
The ability to create campaign messages is still under development and will get released in a future update to WhatsApp Business Beta. With the release of this feature, small businesses will have an easier time engaging with their customers and promoting their products & services in a more targeted way. It will allow them to increase their sales, expand their customer base, and grow their business efficiently.
